The Gippsland All Stars program is excited to announce the 2025 Virtue Homes Rising Star nominees. These young athletes have impressed throughout the season, consistently demonstrating exceptional skill, determination, and game awareness across both football and netball.
Coaches from across the region have recognised these players for their impact on the field and court, their commitment to improvement, and their ability to perform in key moments. The nominations highlight the depth of emerging talent in Gippsland and celebrate the hard work and dedication each player has shown throughout 2025.

These players are the Virtue Homes Rising Stars Nominations, selected and nominated by their coaches for their outstanding performances. All nominees are proud representatives of the Dahlsens Gippsland All Stars, showcasing exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship across the season.

Jess Gerrand – C/WA/WD
From the Coach: Crafty and versatile across multiple positions, Jess applies relentless defence and never backs down from a challenge.
Olivia Stothers – C/WA/WD
From the Coach: A strong and steady presence in the midcourt, Olivia combines calm control with sharp instincts and precise passing.
Rosie Cawood – GD/GK
From the Coach: Tall with long reach and impeccable timing, Rosie has the ability to shut down opposing attacks effectively.
Lexi Doherty – GA/GS
From the Coach: Reliable and accurate shooter, Lexi combines impressive court speed with the ability to apply strong defensive pressure.

From the Coach: Athletic and all-round midcourter, Lara covers the court with smart positioning, speed, and the ability to create turnovers.

Virginia Daley – GD/GK
From the Coach: Tenacious and relentless, Virginia applies constant pressure and reads the game exceptionally well.
Taylah Voumard – GS/GA
From the Coach: Exceptionally accurate close in and from distance, Taylah is strong, composed, and uses smart body positioning to create easy feed opportunities.
Lucy Fazioli – GD/GK
From the Coach: Unyielding and composed, Lucy provides intense 1:1 defence while seamlessly integrating within the defensive unit.
Marah Xerri – GA/WA
From the Coach: Creative and sharp in attack, Marah brings boundless intensity and often acts as the playmaker in the attacking end.
Kit Passalaqua – C/WD
From the Coach: Dynamic and explosive, Kit links defence to attack with control. Her defensive game is a standout strength.

Lacy Fennell – Defence/Mid Court
From the Coach: Consistent and versatile, Lacy applies relentless defensive pressure and is always an option in attack.
Evie Stone – Goaler
From the Coach: Fast, dynamic, and highly accurate, Evie is a playmaker in the attacking end.
Willow Butinar – Defence
From the Coach: Smart and instinctive, Willow reads the play extremely well and generates numerous intercepts.
Billie Peterson – Mid Court
From the Coach: Fast and tireless, Billie delivers precise feeds to her goalers with a high work rate.
Adelle Hecker – Mid Court/Defender
From the Coach: Versatile and hardworking, Adelle plays with intensity and gives her all every game.

From the Coach: Rebounding defender who reads the game well. Rarely beaten and a natural leader.

From the Coach: Crafty forward who reads the play extremely well. Also a handy on-baller with natural ability to find the footy and deliver to teammates. Leads by example with high energy and a positive attitude.
Jemma Martin – Mid/Wing
From the Coach: Speedy ball magnet who will run all day. Can kick goals, chase down tackles, get the ball to teammates in good positions, and attack or defend wherever the team needs.
Taylah Mizzi – Mid
From the Coach: Natural talent, leads by example, with agility, timing, and an ability to find space with the ball as her real strength.
Lailah Carrol – Ruck
From the Coach: Dominant in the ruck, rarely loses a contest, and consistently gives her mids first look at the ball.
Cienna Searle – Utility
From the Coach: Can play any position on the ground and does it well. Loves the contest and takes excellent contested grabs.
Paige Yann – Forward/Mid
From the Coach: Quick and crafty. If given time and space, she will tear an opposition apart.
Dixie Clack – Mid/Wing
From the Coach: Quiet achiever and extremely hard worker. Can attack and defend effectively, rarely loses contests, and is dangerous with the ball in hand.
Ashtyn Stone – Forward
From the Coach: Excellent contested grab. Always finds the right spots up forward, and when she marks, it’s almost a certain goal.
Charlotte Dillow – Mid
From the Coach: Hard-working midfielder who consistently puts her body on the line to win the ball. Can play any role and is a joy to watch in space.
Grace Scott – Back/Mid
From the Coach: Strong-bodied midfielder/back who rarely loses contests. Plays with high intensity, attacking the ball and applying tackle pressure all over the ground.
Sadie Stevens – Back
From the Coach: Brick wall in defence. Attacks the footy off half-back when appropriate, but knows when to hang back to support teammates.
Bella Hill – Back
From the Coach: Rock-solid in defence. Rarely loses a 1-on-1 and clears the ball from defensive 50 with ease.

Peyton Schroeter – Mid
From the Coach: Hard-working midfielder with the ability to hit the scoreboard. Excellent skills and a great attitude.
Kaylea Rudling – Mid/Forward
From the Coach: Great skills, hard-working both defensively and offensively, and capable of kicking goals.

From the Coach: Understands the game, very good 1v1 defender, makes smart decisions, and has great skills.

From the Coach: Elite all-round player who is quick, keeps going and has excellent skills. Incredible ability to read the play and very versatile.
Gypsy Quaife – Forward
From the Coach: Great player with strong footy smarts and an ability to set herself up behind play brilliantly. Leading goal kicker who reads the play well and marks strongly.
Abbey Wilson – Mid
From the Coach: Versatile go-getter who always puts her head over the ball. Uses her footy smarts to move play quickly and consistently sets herself up in the right position. Very strong footy IQ.
Pallas Jackman-Riches – Ruck
From the Coach: Dominant in stoppages with an impressive read of the play. Tall, hard-working ruck with great clearance skills from centre bounce and is a reliable mark.
Amelia (Millie) Henry – CHB/CHF
From the Coach: Super dominant and versatile, able to play at both ends of the field. Brilliant hands and composed in the contest.
Melina Briganti – Mid
From the Coach: All-round go-getter. Composed, disciplined and versatile across any part of the ground. Very smart player with accurate kicking and gives 110 percent.
Addison Moore – Mid
From the Coach: Incredibly talented player with strong ball knowledge and an excellent ability to read the play. Uses her speed brilliantly to win clearances and move the ball quickly inside fifty.
Delynda Jeremiejczyk – Wing
From the Coach: Reliable, hard-hitting wing who clears the ball into space with composure and backs it up with great speed.
Aster Moles – Forward
From the Coach: Determined and smart player who rarely loses a one-on-one. Very versatile and hardworking with outstanding crumbing ability and strong goal sense.
Delaney Staniforth – Back
From the Coach: A brick wall in defence who gets the ball moving. Brilliant footy IQ and uses her knowledge to her advantage. Composed in contests.
Neave Cunningham – Defence/Ruck
From the Coach: Ferocious defender with an excellent read of the play. Moves the ball quickly, rarely loses one-on-one and is a strong mark with impressive speed.
Matilda Percy – Forward
From the Coach: Reliable in front of goal and a consistent presence in attack. Uses her kicking skills well and moves the ball with ease. Consistent and composed.

About the role:
Coaches work voluntarily and play a key role in squad selection, individual athlete skill development, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, player centred environment. Successful applicants will contribute to a positive and respectful match day culture, oversee three match day events plus a Grand Final if qualified, and participate in training sessions.

We are searching for coaches who:
✔ Are enthusiastic about developing talented young footballers or netballers
✔ Value strong relationships and positive sporting environments
✔ Want to grow their own coaching capability within AFL Victoria or Netball Victoria development pathways
✔ Hold a valid Working With Children Check
✔ Hold a current coaching accreditation

2026 Fixture Dates Announced

The Dahlsens Gippsland All Stars have confirmed their 2026 fixture dates retaining the successful three-round format with a July Grand Final. The structure is designed to complement local club commitments while showcasing Gippsland’s best emerging talent.

  • Round 1: Friday, 3 April 2026
  • Round 2: Sunday, 17 May 2026
  • Round 3: Monday, 8 June 2026
  • Grand Final: Sunday, 5 July 2026

Venues and match information will be confirmed and published in due course.

Why this format works
Feedback from players, parents, coaches and clubs over recent seasons has been clear: spacing rounds across April, May and June keeps the program accessible and sustainable. Concentrating the Grand Final in early July also reduces clashes with all leagues’ finals series.

Details for trials (dates, venues, eligibility and how to register) will be released shortly.

The Gippsland All Stars program has once again demonstrated its strength in developing talent, with an impressive number of players and coaches selected for the 2025 V/Line Cup. 
Remarkably, 91% of the players listed for the V/Line Cup from Gippsland were All Stars representatives, underlining the program’s effectiveness in identifying and developing the region’s top talent.
The All Stars program also continues to provide pathways for coaches. This year, the following All Stars program coaches were selected at the V/Line Cup level:
